Safety Management
Description
This one-day course is designed for owners, managers, supervisors and individuals involved in developing and implementing a company’s safety & health management system. Participants become familiar with the fundamentals of an effective safety & health management system, the required elements and the importance of documentation. A portion of this course focuses on how to use and interpret the Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety Regulations to better understand responsibilities associated with a company’s safety & health management system.
Upon completion of this course, participants have the tools and resources necessary to lead and engage in the development and maintenance of their company’s internal safety & health program.
This course is also available On Demand to complete in your own time within 60 days.

CEU Credits
Course hours can be used towards the Gold Seal Certification application for credits. Note: every 3 hours of learning equals 1 Gold Seal credit.
This course may be eligible for BCRSP CPD points through the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals and Continuing Education Units through the Sask Operator Certification Board.
