System Tube and Clamp Scaffolding Awareness
This one day course is for supervisors or workers that will be working on tube and clamp scaffolding. This course does not certify participants to build tube and clamp scaffolding. The afternoon is spent at a scaffolding yard to review the components and inspection of tube and clamp scaffolding.
PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (HARD HAT, SAFETY GLASSES, SAFETY GLOVES, HIGH-VISIBILITY VEST, AND SAFETY FOOTWEAR) for the afternoon activity at the scaffolding yard.
- Review sections of the Saskatchewan OHS Regulations regarding scaffolding
- Identify and control hazards related to tube and clamp scaffolding
- Identify components of tube and clamp scaffolding
- Proper inspection of tube and clamp scaffolding
This course may be eligible for BCRSP CPD points through the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals as well as Continuing Education Units through the Sask Operator Certification Board. For more information see the noted websites.
